Ramos To Feature Emelia per the plans been cooked by the UK based musician. Tassel Records’ UK-based Ghanaian musician, Kwesi Ramos has hinted of a possible collaboration with actress turned singer Emelia Brobbey despite critics tagging her song dubbed ‘Fame Ko’ as noise by some Ghanaians.
The Kumawood actress who has switched her career to becoming a musician has become a subject of mockery on social media for some weeks now after she released her debut single titled ‘Fame Ko’
But commenting on which Ghanaian artiste he would like to move and work with, the Afrobeat artiste Kwesi Ramos told host DJ Nyaami in an interview on SVTV Africa that, he would like to work with Emelia Brobbey despite social media users tagging her song as noise.
“Emelia Brobbey, She is the person I would like to move and work with. I like her a lot. We can do a lot of things together and oh Emelia, I have some pounds for you” he jokingly added. Kwesi furthered that; he would feature Emelia Brobbey in his upcoming video shoot for his new single ‘Calling’ which is schedule for January 2020.
Kwesi Ramos is an Afrobeat artist who draws his inspiration from Davido, The Beatles as well as Ghana’s very own Grammy-nominated reggae artist, Rocky Dawuni. With such many influences, it is hard to put the music created by Kwesi under one solid genre.
Kwesi has also collaborated with Ghanaian artists such as Kofi Kinaata, Patapaa, Spooks and many others.
Kwesi Ramos is currently promoting his new single titled ‘Calling’ featuring the ‘Nothing I Get’ hitmaker Fameye. The high life song is having playtime on BBC Radio in the UK and also in Ghana making him to believe his song will go far.
